An-Nour University (AU) is a specialized institution dedicated to training Christians to serve effectively within Islamic contexts. It comprises three schools: Islamic Studies, Christian Ministry, and Languages. The university offers advanced academic programs, including Master's degrees and Doctorates, in these three fields. Its founding was motivated by the recognition of a significant gap in educational offerings; notably, no other institution in Africa or the broader Global South previously provided such comprehensive preparation specifically for Christian ministry in Muslim-majority environments. This university is unmatched worldwide in the scope and depth of its Islamic ministry training programs. The Somali Bible Society, recognizing the critical need for such specialized training, sponsored the university's establishment. Its mission is to prepare Christians to engage Muslim communities and other non-Christians through rigorous theological education, cultural understanding, language proficiency, and spiritual formation. |

Flexible Online Learning
All An-Nour University (AU) classes will be available online. You may participate in any of the diploma or degree programs from the safety and convenience of your own home. The university desires to support the global Christian community in engaging effectively and respectfully with the Muslim world, whether you live in Indonesia, Brazil, United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, or any other country where there are Muslim people.

|
| | AU has learning centers in many countries. Any cohort of students in any geographical area will have access to a nearby AU learning center. These learning centers are often local churches or facilities of parachurch organizations that partner with AU. For any group of students that would like to schedule classes in their community, contact AU by email.
In the future, classes will also be held on the main campus of the An-Nour University. AU will be sharing facilities with the Somali Bible Society with one floor of the 4-story building being dedicated to training and education. The university will operate out of this key ministry center for administrative, educational, and missional purposes. |

The SBS and the AU are so closely linked in mission that sharing facilities and resources was considered the most efficient and cost effective approach. Both organizations will occupy the Good Samaritan Center that many of you have already been supporting in finance and prayer. |
